Solskjaer tips Barcelona to win Champions League title after Man United exit



- Solskjaer now believes Barcelona have everything it takes to be crowned European champions
- Man United crashed out of the Champions League after suffering a 4-0 defeat on aggregate to Barcelona
- Both Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam have confirmed their place in the semis
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is backing Barcelona to win this year's edition of the Champions League after bundling Manchester United out of the competition in the quarter final stage.
United were hammered 3-0 in the second leg of the fixture played at Nou Camp, with Lionel Messi's masterclass booking a place for Barcelona in the semis.
Solskjaer now believes the La Liga giants have all it takes to be crowned European Champions.
When asked if Barcelona stand the best chance to go all the way, the Norwegian tactician lauded the Spanish side's quality up-front tipping them clear favourites.
"I think Barcelona, with the quality they’ve got, with the front three they’ve got and even Dembele and Malcom, players there to put on – I wouldn’t bet against them, even though I don’t bet," the UK Metro quoted Solskajer.
"For me they would be favorites to win the whole tournament and it was the worst draw we could have had," he added.
Barcelona, alongside Ajax Amsterdam have already booked a place in the semi finals of the competition, with the Catalans set to face the winner between Liverpool and FC Porto in the last four.
Ajax, on the other hand will battle the winner between Man City and Tottenham Hotspurs who are yet to play their second leg fixture slated for Wednesday night, April 17.
